Etymology. THIS SPEcIES IS DEDIcATED TO DR. TOMISLAV KARANOVIc, RENOWNED SPEcIALIST FOR THE GROUNDWATER cOPEPODS, WHO cOLLEcTED THE TYPE SERIES OF THE SPEcIES.
Type locality. A SANDbANK (38.06486ºN, 128.17693ºE) ON THE RIVERSIDE OF SOYANGGANG ( GANG = RIVER) NEAR TOWN OF INJE, GANGWON-DO, SOUTH KOREA (LOcALITY 1 IN FIG. 1 View FIGURE 1 ). THE TYPE SERIES WAS cOLLEcTED ON 0 9.2011 bY T. KARANOVIc. ENVIRONMENTAL PARAMETERS WERE NOT MEASURED GoogleMaps .
