Length. Male: 2.6mm.
Ochraceous. Vertex with sinuate oblique line on either side of median line on antero-lateral margin, patch on either side of median line (Plate IV: G). Pronotum with three longitudinal stripes on either side of median line (Plate IV: G). Basal triangles on scutellum orange (Plate IV: G). Forewing veins margined by brown.
Forewing macropterous, inner anteapical cell closed basally.
Male genitalia. Subgenital plate subtriangular, apex acute ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19. M C); style, preapical lobe short and broad, apophysis short and slim, digitate, slightly laterally curved ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19. M D); aedeagal shaft tapering to apex in dorsal view, apex slightly curved dorsally, with ventral triangular membranous area in lateral view ( Figs 19 View FIGURE 19. M E, 19F).
Material examined. Holotype: ɗ, China, Hainan Prov., Liangyuan, 29 May 1983, coll. Zhang Yalin, at light ( NWAFU).
Remarks. This species can be distinguished by short and slim style apophysis ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19. M D) and the ventral triangular membranous area at the apex of the aedeagus ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19. M F).
Etymology. This name is based on the triangular membranous area on the apex of the aedeagus.
