Range:— Circum-Amazonian from Trinidad and Tobago to Panama and south to Bolivia (BE, CO, LP, SC).
Ecology:— Common; hemiepiphytic in humid forests, growing on fallen branches, tree bases, and sometimes on the ground; to 1200 m, elsewhere to 1600 m.
Notes:— The only Bolivian Lomariopsis with lobed or dentate pinnae on juvenile fronds and decidedly winged rachises.
