Barsine miloslavae View in CoL species-group

Diagnosis. Members of the species-group have forewings with rounded and not elongated apex, and the poorly developed sexual dimorphism. B. miloslavae well differs externally from other species of the B. cardinalis anomala 'species-complex' by presence of the large elliptical black shade on the forewing, whereas three other species have the appearance similar to that of other species of the B. cardinalis anomala 'species-complex'. In the male genitalia, medial costal process is reduced tooth-like ( B. nangkwak and B. incompletostriga ) or absent ( B. rawanga and B. miloslavae ), and vesica consists of several elongated diverticula with large clusters or bunches of robust spines and spike-like cornuti. The female genitalia are characterized by presence of band-like clusters of robust spines in the posterior and medial sections of corpus bursae, and a large dentate signum in the anterior section of corpus bursae.
