Diagnosis. The species is similar to H. himalayaensis in having quite similar appearance and pattern of genitalia. But it can be distinguished by less tegular setae not extending distally so far, short median apophysis not exceeding retrolateral margin of cymbium in ventral view (Figs 6C–E, 8E–G, 9A–C); epigyne with shorter distance between the copulatory openings and the epigastric furrow than the diameter of copulatory openings and less convoluted copulatory ducts than the latter ( Figs 7C–E View FIGURES 7 , 8C–D View FIGURES 8 , 9D–E View FIGURES 9 ).
Redescription. Male. Total length 2.44–3.02. Prosoma 1.11–1.51 long, 0.81–1.13 wide; Opisthosoma 1.30– 1.53 long, 0.80–0.95 wide. Spiracle long and transverse, the distance of spiracle to epigastric furrow as long as to spinnerets.
Male palpal patella with a hooked apophysis retrolatero-proximally. RTA long, sharply curved clockwise, tip pointing ventrally. Male palpal tegulum having a series of setae forming “C” around centre of bulb. Embolus originating retrolaterally, almost roundly coiled. Cymbial furrow deep and nearly as long as half cymbium (Figs 6C–E, 8E–G, 9A–C).
Female. Total length 2.67–2.89. Prosoma 1.20–1.24 long, 0.79–0.84 wide; Opisthosoma 1.45–1.64 long, 1.02– 1.33 wide. Spiracle long and transverse, the distance of spiracle to epigastric furrow as long as to spinnerets ( Fig. 7B View FIGURES 7 ).
Epigyne with a quite shallow and transversal oval atrium near epigastric furrow, two closely connected copulatory openings located inside the atrium. Copulatory ducts moderately long, strongly coiled and bifurcated, one branch short and connected with the subspermathecae, the other branch long and roundly coiled, finally connected with posterio-laterally located, elliptic spermathecae. Fertilization ducts short, arising posteriorly of spermathecae, pointing laterally ( Figs 7C–E View FIGURES 7 , 8C–D View FIGURES 8 , 9D–E View FIGURES 9 ). Behind the epigastric furrow, a pair of oblique curved hoods located ( Figs 7B–C View FIGURES 7 , 8C View FIGURES 8 , 9D View FIGURES 9 ).
Distribution. China (Yunnan) ( Fig. 16 View FIGURE 16 ), Bhutan (Dechhi Paka, Phuntsholing).
Remarks. We confirmed this is the first description of H. musica from China after the examination of male and female paratypes (Figs 6A–G, 7A–E) of H. musica .
