Description, female. Body length 3.15 mm. Head and mesosoma black; wings clear hyaline; metasoma castaneous. Head wide. Mandible with four distal teeth, narrow, curved, and with two upper teeth wider than others. Median clypeal lobe angulate, short. Frons coriaceous  ; antennal scrobe carinate, but weak. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellae forming right angle; ocelli small. Vertex convex. Pronotal disc as long as wide, strongly coriaceous  ; transverse pronotal carina complete; posterior margin without posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus very narrow. Mesoscutellar disc with mesoscutellar sulcus narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc long; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges absent; metapostnotal-propodeal suture straight; paraspiracular carina present and inconspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea opened; lower fovea closed; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture opened. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein not distinguished. Mesotibia not spinose; claws trifid. Metasomal segments glabrous. Genitalia. T9 with slender and with dorsal lap swollen posteriorly; 1vv longer than genitalia body; 2vv shorter than 1vv length, smoothly narrowing apicad; 3vv short; 1vf curved downward; 2vf slender and with dorsal lap strongly swollen posteriorly; 1rv not curved, ventral process large, and posterior process short; 2rv not curved.

Distribution. Brazil: Bahia, Espírito Santo, São Paulo, Paraná.

Remarks. This new species differs from A. analis ( Cresson, 1872)  by having the body black; the mandible not angled and with the distal teeth equally wide; the clypeus with the median lobe angulate and short; the antennal scrobe ecarinate; the metapostnotum without longitudinal ridges; and the mesopleuron with the mesopleural suture not defined, whereas A. analis  has the body with green reflection and metapectal-propodeal disc black; the mandible narrow and angled with four distal teeth, and with the two upper teeth wider than others; the clypeus with the median lobe rounded and short; the antennal scrobe carinate; the metapostnotum with longitudinal ridges; and the mesopleuron with the mesopleural suture defined.
