Redescription, male. Body length 4.6 mm. Head black; mesosoma with darkish green reflection; wings subhyaline; metasoma dark castaneous with apex castaneous. Head wide. Flagellomeres long. Mandible slender, slightly angled, and with lower tooth longer than others. Median clypeal lobe rounded, long, with apical medina tooth. Frons coriaceous . Antennal scrobe ecarinate. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle acute; ocelli large. Vertex convex. Pronotal disc as long as wide, sparsely punctate; transverse pronotal carina absent; with posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus very narrow. Mesoscutellar sulcus narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc long; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges present; metapostnotal-propodeal suture straight; paraspiracular carina present and inconspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectalpropodeal disc polished; propodeal declivity polished. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea opened; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture opened. Metasomal segments glabrous. Genitalia. Basiparamere longer than paramere; paramere wide, rounded, and with ventral and dorsal margin convex, glabrous; basivolsella straight; cuspis with arms short, dorsal arm slender; aedeagus with basal portion convex and wide, apical portion as long as basal and slender; apodeme wide.

Material examined. Holotype, ♂, MEXICO, Canyon de Lobos, near Yautepec, Morelos, 4000 feet, 13 April 1959 (H. E. Evans [collector]) ( MCZH 30944 ) .
