( Figs 10J–M View FIGURE 10 , 11A–D View FIGURE 11 )

Females. Mandible with five distal teeth, and evenly developed; clypeus long; antennal scrobe ecarinate; frontal angle of ocellar triangle about right; ocelli large; vertex convex. Pronotum very short [as male], without transverse pronotal carina; parapsidal signum with anterior half not continuous; mesopleuron with the lower mesopleural fovea opened, mesopleural suture opened, and posterior mesopleural sulcus absent. Forewing with R1 indistinct. Mesotibia not spinose. Metatrochanter with lateral expansion. Posterior hypopygeal margin projected convex. Genitalia with 2vv as long as 1vv, and apex slender; sting (1vv+2vv) long [surpassing 3vv apex]; 1vf curved upward; 1rv not curved, with 1rv ventral process small, and posterior process short.

Males. Unknown

Distribution. It is restricted to Neotropical region

Remarks: The characteristic “pronotal disc shorter than wide”, when its length is less than half of its width, is a common characteristic for males of Anisepyris . We observed, however, that this trait is rare in females. Therefore, we allocated females with a short pronotal disc to a new species-group under the name bogotensis . This speciesgroup is composed of five species ( Table 1).
