Description, female. Body length 3.69 mm. Head with dark blue reflection; mesosoma with dark blue reflection and metapectal-propodeal disc black; wings subhyaline; metasoma dark castaneous. Head long. Mandible with five distal teeth, narrow, slightly angled, and with two upper teeth wider than others. Median clypeal lobe angulate, short, with apical margin truncate. Frons coriaceous ; with frontal process; antennal scrobe carinate, but weak. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellae forming right angle; ocelli very small. Vertex convex. Pronotal disc as long as wide, strongly coriaceous ; transverse pronotal carina present, incomplete; posterior margin with posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus very narrow. Mesoscutellar disc with mesoscutellar sulcus narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc long; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges absent; metapostnotal-propodeal suture straight; paraspiracular carina present and inconspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectalpropodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea opened; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture opened. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein not distinguished. Mesotibia not spinose; claws trifid. Metasomal segments glabrous. Genitalia. T9 with anterior arm long and overlapping 2vf; 1vv slightly longer than genitalia body; 2vv shorter than 1vv length, smoothly narrowing apicad; 3vv short; 1vf slightly curved forward; 2vf slender and with dorsal lap strongly swollen posteriorly; 1rv slightly curved forward, ventral process large, and posterior process short; 2rv not curved.

Distribution. Brazil: Amazonas, Mato Grosso, Goiás, Espírito Santo, São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul; Paraguay.

Remarks. This new species differs from A. iridescens by having the clypeus short with the apical margin truncate; the frontal angle of the ocellar trinagle forming a right angle; the ocelli very small; the transverse pronotal carina present; the paraspiracular carina present and inconspicuous; the metapostnotum without longitudinal ridges; and the mesopleural suture opened, whereas A. iridescens has the clypeus long with the apical margin angulate; the frontal angle of the ocellar triangle acute; the ocelli small; the transverse pronotal carina absent; the paraspiracular carina present and conspicuous; the metapostnotum with longitudinal ridges; and the mesopleural suture closed.
