Diagnosis. Males of E. stitch sp. nov. are easily recognized by having a retrolateral apophysis with constricted

base on the palpal patella, palpal tibia with retrolateral concavity giving rise to a basal apophysis, RTA lanceolate and retrolaterally directed and basal portion of the RTA digitiform. Females present elliptical epigynal plate and Vshaped spermathecae with external base ( Figs 22 View FIGURE 22 , 23 View FIGURE 23 ).

Etymology. The specific epithet is a noun taken in apposition and is in reference to Stitch, a fictional character in Disney’s Lilo & Stitch franchise. The shade of the colors of its ears resembles the spermathecae from ventral view.

Description. Male (IBSP 55252). Color: carapace light brown, yellow sternum with orange border, yellow burnt chelicerae, pale yellow coxae, femurs, patella, tibia, tarsus and metatarsals yellow; predominantly dark brown dorsal abdomen with five white spots (2-2-1) and speckled spots, light brown medium dorsal shield, short setae throughout the abdomen; ventral abdomen pale yellow with two brown bands, little sclerotinized, yellow above the epigastric furrow. Total length 4.75; carapace length 2.3; width 1.7; abdomen length 2.15; maximum length of spinnerets 0.2; chelicerae length 0.82; clypeus height 0.7.
