Type locality. ( T. s.) Cape of Good Hope and Senegal .
Distribution. African savannas south of the Sahara ( Prost & Roy 1986; Ragge & Roy 1967; Roy 1962a).
Records. CSC: ♁, new station, IV.–VI.2021, E. Frank leg.
Remarks. A rarely sampled savanna specialist. Nymphs are graminicolous, later instars and adults arbusticolous. New Ivorian record.
