Report associated with sponges: This species was reported among sponge Geodia sp. from Rovinj (Adriatic Sea, Mediterranean Sea) ( Viets 1940).

Remarks: This was also reported among algae (e.g., Ulva, Udothea , Acetabularia , Padina ), mud from Rovinj (Adriatic Sea, Mediterranean Sea) ( Viets 1940).
