Report associated with sponges: This species was reported among seagrass Amphibolis sp. and demosponge with epiflora and fauna from Esperance, Duke of Orleans Bay ( Bartsch 2005).

Remarks: This species is often abundant amongst the epifauna on seagrass Amphibolis sp. , but present also amongst scrub-like corallines covering rocks ( Bartsch 2005).
