Diagnosis: The body color is flavescent, Nysius senecionis is distinguished from the other species of the genus by yellow buccula, buccula not dropping backward and with the end reaching base of head, scutellum pale with fuscous punctures and basally with short brown stripe. Inner projection of paramere elliptical and laterally slightly concave ( Fig. 13 ). Pygophore ( Fig. 18 ), spermatheca ( Fig. 23 ) and ejaculatory reservoir ( Fig. 28 ) as shown in the pictures.

Measurements. Male. (n=10): Total length: 3.70–4.10 (3.92); head length: 0.70–0.73 (0.72); head width: 0.88–0.92 (0.90); interocular space: 0.53–0.55 (0.54); Antennal segments:? 0.31–0.33 (0.32);? 0.64–0.68 (0.65);? 0.50–0.52 (0.51);? 0.61–0.63 (0.62); pronotum length: 0.75–0.77 (0.76); pronotum width: 1.20–1.30 (1.23); scutellum length: 0.51–0.54 (0.52); scutellum width: 0.66–0.69 (0.67); claval commissure length: 0.49–0.52 (0.51); abdomen length: 2.50–2.90 (2.71); abdominal width: 1.10–1.40 (1.28).

Female. (n=10): Total length: 3.80–4.30 (4.11); head length: 0.71–0.75 (0.73); head width: 0.89–0.92 (0.91); interocular space: 0.53–0.56 (0.55); Antennal segments:? 0.31–0.33 (0.32);? 0.64–0.69 (0.66);? 0.50–0.52 (0.51);? 0.60–0.63 (0.62); pronotum length: 0.75–0.78 (0.76); pronotum width: 1.20–1.30 (1.26); scutellum length: 0.51– 0.55 (0.53); scutellum width: 0.67–0.70 (0.68); claval commissure length: 0.49–0.53 (0.51); abdomen length: 2.60– 3.20 (2.99); abdominal width: 1.10–1.50 (1.35).
