Diagnosis. The species is superficially similar to F. crossophaea Meyrick , which is known in N. India, but it can be easily distinguished by the male genitalia with valva having an extremely slender, elongate distal portion which is much longer than the basal portion.
Adult ( Fig.18 View FIGURES 17 – 32 , non-type in CIS). Wingspan, 12.5–13.5 mm.
