Literature data. Montsinéry-Tonnegrande, 23.III.1978, 23.X.1980 on rice; Matoury, 7. VI.1980; Nancibo 12.II.1981 identified as Podisus sp. ( Remillet, 1988).— French Guiana, but no locality mentioned ( Thomas, 1992).
Distribution. Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Ecuador, French Guiana, Leeward Island, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru.
Comments. This species does not seem to be attracted by lights since it was mainly collected with FIT and by hand catching.
