(The specimen is card-mounted; antenna and all legs on the left side, and genitalia dissected, stored in a set of three microslides attached to three pieces of card placed on the same pin).

Current status. Junior synonym of Microvelia (Picaultia) popovi Brown, 1951 (see LIN- NAVUORI 1986, ANDERSEN 1995, ANDERSEN & WEIR 2003, AUKEMA et al. 2013).
