Description. Size. Length of pronotum in male 1.66–2.08 mm, in holotype 2.08 mm (mean 1.97 mm), in female 2.40–2.59 mm (mean 2.52 mm); N 6/5.
Structures. Tergmina in both sexes narrowly tongue-shaped ( Figs. 4K, L View FIGURE 4 ). Male. T2 laterally on both sides at the anterior border with a relatively short and narrow field with rather large glandular pores ( Figs. 4A View FIGURE 4 , 6 View FIGURE 6 A–F), occupying much less than a fourth of the breadth of the tergite and by far less than half of the length of the pre-ridge area; T3 at the comparable position with only few small pores or none at all, T8 with very few small glandular pores mesally at the anterior border ( Fig. 4J View FIGURE 4 ); T7 gland variable, without species specific features ( Figs. 4D View FIGURE 4 , G–I); posterior border of T2–7 with several rather long bristles reaching twice the length of the more numerous smaller ones ( Figs. 4E, F View FIGURE 4 ); posterior lobe of S9: right border in its distal two thirds fairly straight, smoothly curving into its proximal third ( Fig. 8G View FIGURE 8 ); four scale sclerites present, none pleated ( Fig. 8H View FIGURE 8 ).
Colouration. Male. Head straw-coloured, frons above the antennae slightly darker, tinged yellowish orange, with straw-coloured post-interocular band; legs straw-coloured; thoracal nota straw-coloured, with only sparsely distributed dark spots ( Fig. 7A View FIGURE 7 ); abdominal tergites with dark markings little extended, pre-ridge area only in posterior tergites fully filled with dark, patches along the transversal ridge similarly only at more posterior positions well developed, on T7 mesally with a large dark area including the T7 gland, not reaching the posterior border of the tergite ( Figs. 4 View FIGURE 4 A–D); abdominal sternites dark, with broad straw-coloured lateral margins. Female. Mostly similarly lightly coloured as male ( Fig. 7B View FIGURE 7 ), occasionally, however, with much darker colouration of head, thorax ( Figs. 7C, D View FIGURE 7 ) and abdomen.
Distribution. In the Aurès Mountains of Tunisia, southwards adjacent to the distribution area of Dz. (P.) kroumiriensis ( Figs. 16 View FIGURE 16 , 17 View FIGURE 17 ).
