DESCRIPTION. — Amongst the species with a median carina and with converging sublateral carinae of rostrum, E. aobae is defined by a very shiny integument, pale, shiny scales and a bare prementum.
Length: 11.5-13.0 mm.
TYPE MATERIAL . — The type material (two specimens) should be in MNHN. Not seen. Identified non-type specimen with BPBM .
MATERIAL EXAMINED. — Vanuatu. Ambae, Pentecost. One specimen.
REMARKS. — The species was described from Aoba, an alternative name for Ambae.
