Die WOLFsche Angabe von der Schulter des Matterhorns (vgl. Cat.; Zahl «4200m» von JACCARD zugesetzt) ist zu bestätigen. Sichere hohe Angabe aus der neueren Zeit: Oberrothorn bei Zermatt, 3415 m (Braun-Blanquet 1919, Sulger 1949).
l: Cornettes de Bise (Briquet); Dent de Valerette (Fournier); Dent du Salantin (idem). - 2: Fal- dumpass (J.). - 3: Penninische Kette verbreitet.- 4:Binn,mehrfach:Bettlihorn (Binz),Hölzli- horn (idem), Albrun (Bernoulli); Rappental (B. C. W.).
Var. trifida (Gaudin) Engler - Angeblich in Distr. 3: Valsorey (Guyot) und Val de Bagnes (Gau- din); dürfte wohl zu S. moschata gehören.
