Bembidion (Bracteon) argenteolum Ahrens, 1812 View in CoL
Material. Khabarovsk, Penza Station, 27.06.1972, A. Ryabukhin leg., 1♂ ; Chegdomyn, 7.07.2004, E. Novomodnyi leg., 1♂.
Distribution. A boreal transpalearctic species. In Europe and Siberia it is polyzonal: from the southern tundra in the north to the
Italian Alps, Ciscaucasia, Altai, and southern Baikal region; reported for Northeast Mongolia ( Korsun et al. 2012). In the Far East it is known from South and Central Yakutia, the mountains of North Amur Region, the Amur River valley and the northern Sikhote-Alin. The type locality of Bembidium glabriusculum Motschulsky, 1844 (junior synonym of B. argenteolum ) from “sur les bords de la mer à Sitka (possessions russes en Amérique)” is probably erroneous, as this species is unknown from North America ( Maddison 1993).
