Comments

The individuals of the species here sampled were found in the areas of Atlantic Forest . Even with the type locality of this species being in Bahia Sate , Northeast of Brazil, 1700 km away from GSP, the collected males and females do not vary considerably in morphology – shape of female ovipositor, head, fastigium and wings – being very similar to the holotype. Additionally, I was able to study the katydid collection housed in the insect collection of ′ Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz – ESALQ, SP̍, and there are some males and females of the species from different areas, extending from Bahia to São Paulo state, a state very close to the GSP.

One male, ′ Brasil, PR, Tibagi, Parque \ Estadual do Guartelá [Guartelá State Park]\ 24.5660°S, 50.2561°W 21–24 .x .2020 Coleta ativa\noturna [nocturnal active collection] M. Fianco & H. Preis ̍; one female, same data except ′ 09–12 .xii .2020̍ and ′M . Fianco & N . Szinwelski col̍; and one female, same data except ′ 08–11 .iii .2021̍ and ′M. Fianco, D.N. Barbosa & H. Preis̍.
