NOTES. When comparing M. altaica and M. longirostrata ( Table 1) according to the values of the main morphological characters, there is no noticeable difference between these taxa. In addition, they live on the same host plant Artemisia frigida and species was described from adjacent territories (Russian Altai and Mongolia).
In our opinion M. longirostrata is a junior synonym of M. altaica .
