FIGS 1-24. 1-6. Lauraesilpha do Murienne n.sp. 7-12. Lauraesilpha paniensis Murienne n.sp. 13-18. Lauraesilpha unio Murienne n.sp. 19-24. Lauraesilpha vulcania Murienne n. sp. 1, 7, 13, 19: Male supra-anal plate. 2, 8, 14, 20: Sclerite L2d of male genitalia. 3, 9, 15, 21: External branch of sclerite L2v of male genitalia.4, 10, 16, 22: Internal branch of sclerite L2v of male genitalia. 5, 11, 17, 23: Anterior arch of female genitalia. 6, 12, 18, 24: Basivalvulae of female genitalia.
DESCRIPTION. — Fore femora with anteroventral margins with one strong apical spine, with often but not always a subapical less strong spine and with a row of very small but often conspicuously sclerotized setae. Mid femora with anteroventral margins without distal spines. Hind femora with anteroventral margins with a strong distal spine. Claws simple and symmetrical, shorter and stronger than in other species. Male supra-anal plate (Fig. 7) with hind margin transverse and lateral margins almost straight. Male subgenital plate with hind margin strongly protruding and curved between styli.
Male genitalia with a large sclerite L3v with two regularly curved lobes. Large sclerite L2d (Fig. 8) weakly curved, with a robust base and a truncated apex. External branch of sclerite L2v (Fig. 9) with a narrow and angularly curved basis and very weakly curved in the apical apical third. Internal branch of sclerite L2v (Fig. 10) narrow and fingershaped.
Female genitalia with laterosternal shelf with a transversal sclerotization bearing approximately ten heavy little spines on each side. Basivalvulae (Fig. 12) very strongly sclerotized, with a rounded shape and almost symmetrical, fused on each side with the spermathecal plate. Anterior arch (Fig. 11) rounded with little spines and without lobes on the side of the spermathecal plate. Spermatheca with a first rounded ampulla on the same axis that the duct and a second rounded ampulla lateral relative to the duct axis.
MEASUREMENTS. — Body length: ♂: 15 mm; ♀: 17.5 mm. Pronotum length: ♂: 3.5 mm; ♀: 3.8 mm. Pronotum width: ♂: 4.5 mm; ♀: 4.9 mm. Interocular width: ♂: 1.7 mm; ♀: 1.9 mm. Interantennal width: ♂: 1 mm; ♀: 1.1 mm.
