Acanthoventris iara Ruschel (in Ruschel et al.) 2023: 57 (Amazonas, Brazil).

Remarks. The species has been associated with the Boreal Brazilian dominion and Roraima and Guianan provinces in Brazil ( Ruschel et al. 2023). The specimens examined extend the range into the South Brazilian dominion.

Distribution. The species was known previously only from the state of Amazonas, Brazil ( Ruschel et al. 2023). The range is expanded southward into the state of Rondônia, Brazil with the specimens examined for this work.
