Distribution: India: Khasis, Meghalaya, Cherra Punji ( Swinhoe, 1894; László et al., 2007). Elsewhere: Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam ( László et al., 2007).
Remark: László et al. (2007) erroneously refer the type locality Cherrapunji as located in Bangladesh. In fact, the historical locality is in the Meghalaya Mts, India.
