Distribution: India: Dharamshala, Sikkim ( Hampson,
1892); North India (Watson, 1868); Arunachal Pradesh ( Chandra & Sambath, 2013); Uttarakhand ( Sondhi & Sondhi, 2016). Elsewhere: Burma ( Watson, 1968); Nepal ( Wilkinson, 1972).
Remark: Further, M. mysticata watsoni Inoue, 1958 is known from China and Japan whereas M. mysticata brevinotata Watson, 1968 is known from China ( Watson, 1968).
