Cryptogonus nepalensis bhutanensis Bielawski, 1979: 113 .
Diagnosis. Cryptogonus nepalensis bhutanensis superficially resembles the subspecies, C. nepalensis nepalensis Bielawski, 1972 , but it can be separated from the latter by the color pattern of the elytra ( Figs. 3 View FIGURE 3 a–c) and the apex of the penis guide ( Fig. 3f View FIGURE 3 ). In C. n. bhutanensis, base and apex of the elytra is rather widely black ( Fig. 3c View FIGURE 3 ), penis guide feebly curved outwards in lateral view ( Fig. 3e View FIGURE 3 ), while in C. n. nepalensis , only the base of the elytra is widely black and penis guide nearly straight.
