Halamphora sp. 3 ( Fig. 90 View FIGURES 78–90 )

Description:— Valves semi–lanceolate, dorsiventral with weakly triundulate dorsal margin and slightly convex ventral margin. Valve ends protracted and capitate. Raphe biarcuate with dorsally bent proximal endings. Length 18.3 μm, valve breadth 3.3 μm. Striae radiate throughout, 24–25/10 μm. Dorsal central striae coarse and distinctly thickened.

Distribution and ecology:— Hezhang, Guizhou, China, altitude 1450 m a.s.l., pH 7.2, collected in a pond near the road, with many filiform green algae in the water.

Observations:— Only one specimen has been found in LM.
