( Fig. 3A View FIGURE 3 )

Two species of this genus A. annulata (Bilimek) (from Guerrero, Caves Cacahuamilpa) and Hubbell (from Morelos, Mexico, Cuernavaca and Puebla) ( Hubbell, 1972; Cigliano et al., 2018) are known for the genus. Almost nothing is known about the biology of the species of this genus, except for the collection data reported by Hubbell (1972), which indicated that, they are generally found in grottos or caves. Therefore, it is interesting to have found this species in carrion traps under Quercus . It is possibly that this morphospecies also dwells in places similar to their congeners and that during the evening ventured out of the caves or hollow logs and reached the carrion traps to feed or find shelter.

The specimens were collected in April (one individual) and July (three individuals) and possibly belong to a species yet to be described. We delay describing the females collected as a new species until males that yield a more reliable determination area available. These females have few characteristics to differentiate them clearly from A. annulata .
