Types: ♂ holotype from Peru: Dept. Loreto: Río Marañon, below Pongo de Manseriche; VIII-1924. Deposited at the AMNH, cat. no. 9476 ( Chamberlin 1941), we could not confirm its current state.

Distribution: known only from the type locality.
