Material examined. Thailand, Nai Yang Beach, 8.08686°N, 98.294819°E, sweep net 8.59PM, 22.Nov 2008, A. Thepparat (1 female).
Diagnosis. Female: The only Asian species of C. subg. Avaritia with the basal dark marking on the costa longer than the stigmatic dark marking and with a rounded dark marking about midway along the wing margin of the anal cell.
Distribution. Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Ryukyu Islands ( Japan), Papua New Guinea, Thailand (new record).
