Type: — [ TURKEY. C 7 Urfa] in Mesopotamia inter Orfa et Suerek (Siverek), 1841 Kotschy 57 (holotype G, isotype K!).

Flowering time:— May–June.
Habitat:— Fallow fields, edge of fields. 650‒1200 m elevation.
Distribution:— Endemic. Irano-Turanian element.
