Material examined: Holotype: Female (on slide under four cover slips, slide No. ENT.482), INDIA: Karnataka: Halavarthy , 11. xii. 2020, Coll. A. Rameshkumar ( ZDAMU, registration No. HYM.CH.866).

Host: Unknown.

Distribution: India: Karnataka.

Etymology: The species name is derived from the locality ‘Halavarthy’, Koppal, Karnataka from where the holotype is collected.

Comments: The new species P. halavarthyensis sp. nov. apparently looks similar to P. haziqi . sp. nov. but differs in following characters: head, in frontal view, 1.02× as broad as high, eye height 5.5× as long as malar space, mandible with two long teeth, and two small blunt teeth dorsally, sides of metanotum medially with a row of irregularly curved vertical carinulae, propodeum with a median carina, ovipositor 1.90× as long as hind tibia. In P. haziqi : head in frontal view, 1.31× as broad as high, eye height 4.4× as long as malar space, mandible with two long teeth, and several small teeth dorsally, sides of metanotum smooth, propodeum without a median carina, ovipositor 1.97× as long as hind tibia.
