Material examined India: 1, Darjeeling district, Adheri Khola , 27.XII.1980, leg. Bhakta ( NHMB).

Comment: The known distribution of N. brevipennis includes West Bengal, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh in northern and northeastern India, as well as Bhutan; female-based records are known also from eastern Nepal ( Map 3 View Map 3 ).
