Taxonomic notes. Described originally as a species of Korynia View in CoL , it was almost neglected, but its validity was never questioned. It is assigned here to Strigamia View in CoL for the first time (new combination), because it shares all major diagnostic features of Strigamia View in CoL (see above under “Notes on synonymies”).

Distribution: known from a single locality in the Coast Ranges, California.
