Description

Shell small, thin, translucent, equivalve and slightly convex. Surface shiny and ornamented by faint striae paralleling the ventral shell margin.

Type locality

‘‘ China Seas’’; Hoi Sing Wan, Hong Kong, 22 ° 269N, 114 ° 159E.

Distribution

In Hong Kong, the species attaches to subtidal corals and intertidal rocks in protected waters: usually associated with sea anemones. Steep Island Submarine Cave, Hong Kong.
