Description: ♀ (paratype from Taiwan): Body length 13 mm. Flagellum with 43 flagellomeres, slightly lan- ceolate; 1 st flagellomere 2.5× longer than wide, 2 nd flagellomere 2.1× longer than wide, c.12 th flagellomere square, widest flagellomeres 1.3‒1.5× wider than long. Temple distinctly and roundly narrowed behind eye. OED 1.0× and OOD 0.9x ocellar diameter. Frons densely punctate and finely rugose. Face and clypeus densely punctate. MI 0.75. Gena rather narrow, 0.75× as wide as eye, with scattered superficial punctures ventrally. Genal carina reaching hypostomal one far from mandibular base.

Mesoscoma covered with whitish hairs. Notualus impressed in frontal 1/6 of mesoscutum. Mesoscutum densely punctate, with fine granulation, ± matte. Mesopleuron and metapleuron densely and coarsely punctate. Speculum smooth. Juxtacoxal carina present. Scutellum 1.3× wider than long, with rather dense punctures, without lateral carina. Propodeum distinctly rounded. Area superomedia slightly elevated, horseshoe-shaped, about as long as wide, with punctures. Anterior transversal carina in its middle. Area externa with coarse oblique rugae. Hind coxa densely punctate, densely pilose but without scopa. Hind femur 4.1× longer than wide, with scattered punctures in ventral half. Tarsi slender, 3 rd mid tarsomere 1.6× longer than wide. Areolet pentagonal, frontal distance between veins 2rsm and 3rs-m 1-2× their width; vein 2m-cu distad its middle. Vein 1cu-a postfurcal by 3× its width.

Metasoma strongly oxypygous. Lateral field of postpetiolus with superficial punctures, 0.8× as wide as median field, the latter with coarse striae. Gastrocoelus strongly impressed. Thyridium large, slightly oblique, 1.5× wider than their interval. 2 nd tergite 1.1× wider than long. 2 nd and 3 rd tergite densely rugose-punctate; 2 nd tergite entirely and 3 rd tgerite in basal half with strong median striation. 4 th tergite with coarse dense punctures. 7 th tergite c.1.5× wider than long. Seen from dorsal, ovipositor sheath 0.2× as long as 7 th tergite.

Color: Black. Stripes on flagellomeres 7/8‒16, palps, base of mandible, clypeus, face, gena, wide orbits entirely, scape ventrally, propleuron, frontal and upper margins of pronotum, two long paramedian stripes on mesoscutum, spot on tegula, subtegular ridge, large ventral stripe of mesopleuron, spot on metapleuron sides of scutellum, postscutellum, area dentipara mainly, posterolateral spots on 1 st to 5 th tergites yellow. Legs black; fore and mid coxae entirely, dorsal and ventral stripes on hind coxa, all trochanters, frontal stripes on fore and mid femora and tibiae and subbasal ring of hind tibia yellow. Wings hyaline; pterostigma brown.

♂: Body length 11‒14 mm. Flagellum with 39‒41 flagellomeres, 1 st flagellomere 2.2‒2.3× longer than wide. Tyloids on flagellomeres 9‒19/20, linear, centrally, maximally 0.7× as long as their flagellomeres. Temple strongly and roundly narrowed behind eye. OED 0.9× and OOD 1.0x ocellar diameter. Frons and face densely punctate. Clypeus with scattered punctures in apical half. Gena 0.7× as wide as eye, with rather dense punctures. MI 0.2.

Mesosoma with pale hairs. Notaulus impressed in frontal 1/5 of mesoscutum. Mesoscutum densely punctate, finely granulate but shining. Mesopleuron and metapleuron densely punctate, partly rugose. Juxtacoxal carina present. Scutellum moderately elevated, wider than long, with rather dense punctures, without lateral carina. Area superomedia sickle-shaped, 1.5‒2.0× wider than long, usually confluent with area basalis, finely rugose. Fore metatarsus with blunt apical tooth; hind femur 3.7‒4.0× longer than wide. Areolet pentagonal, frontal distance between veins 2rs-m and 3rs-m 1‒2× their width; vein 2m-cu distad its middle. Vein 1cu-a postfurcal by 2× its width.

Lateral field of postpetiolus punctate, 0.6‒0.7× as wide as median field, median field with coarse aciculation. Thyridium oblique, 1.0‒1.2× as wide as the interval. 2 nd tergite about as long as wide. 2 nd to 4 th tergites densely punctate, 2 nd and 3 rd tergites with strong medial aciculation.

Color: Black. Ivory are palps, mandible except teeth, labrum, clypeus, face, wide orbits (narrowly interrupted between frons and vertex), scapus ventrally, spot on propleuron, collare and wide upper margin of pronotum, two paramedian stripes on mesoscutum, tegula, subtegular ridge, wide band on mesopleuron, posteroventral spot on mesosternum, scutellum laterally, postscutellum, upper division of metapleuron, often area spiraculifera frontal to spiracle, caudal spot on area dentipara, apical band on postpetiolus and postolateral spots on 2 nd to 5 th tergites, median folds of 2 nd to 4 th sternites and apical bands on 2 nd to 5 th sternites, fore and mid coxae and all trochanters, frontal stripes on fore and mid legs, subbasal rings of all tibiae and spurs on hind tibia. Wings almost hyaline, pterostigma blackish.

Remarks: This is the first record of this species from Japan. Since we had not seen Japanese females of this species yet, the description is based on Taiwanese material.

Distribution: Japan (Yakushima Is.), China, Taiwan and Myanmar.
