Description: ♀: Body length 17‒20 mm. Flagellum strongly lanceolate, with (38) 40‒46 flagellomeres; 1 st flagellomere (without anellus) 2.0‒2.3× longer than wide; 2 nd flagellomere 1.9‒2.2× longer than wide, combined length 0.49‒0.58× eye length, 9 th to 11 th flagellomere square; flagellum beyond the middle attenuated and strongly widened, widest flagellomeres 1.7‒2.3× wider than long. Temple roundly narrowed behind the eye. OED 1.1‒1.7× ocellar diameter. Frons transversely rugose-punctate. Face coarsely punctate, granulate and matt. Clypeus punctate, intervals smooth and shining. MI 0.5‒0.7. Gena with fine scattered punctures ventrally, laterally 0.9‒1.0× as wide as eye.
Mesosoma covered with light brownish hairs. Notaulus distinct at the frontal 1/3‒1/5 of mesoscutum. Mesoscu- tum with dense punctures, finely granulate but shining, Mesopleuron and metapleuron with coarse dense punctures; speculum large, smooth and shining. Juxtacoxal carina present. Scutellum slightly elevated and slightly longer than wide, with lateral carina in basal 0.2‒0.3 and scattered punctures. Propodeum rounded. Area superomedia half- moon- or horseshoe-shaped, slightly wider than long, frontal carina obsolete; anterior transversal carina caudal to its middle. Area externa with scattered punctures, smooth or finely rugose. Area petiolaris densely rugose-punctate, with lateral carina. Hind coxa densely punctate, with large scopa (0.3‒0.4 of coxal length). Hind femur 3.3‒3.6× longer than wide, with scattered punctures in basal third; 3 rd mid tarsomere 1.4‒1.7× longer than wide.
Areolet pentagonal, frontal distance between veins 2rs-m and 3rs-m 2‒3× their width; vein 2m-cu in or distad its middle. Vein 1cu-a postfurcal by 2× its width.
Metasoma strongly oxypygous. Lateral field of postpetiolus punctate, 0.5‒0.7× as wide as median field; median field with coarse striae and some punctures. Gastrocoelus strongly impressed, with ridges. Thyridium transverse or slightly oblique, 0.8‒1.1× as wide as the interval; interval about as wide as median field of postpetiolus. 2 nd tergite 0.9‒1.0× as long as wide, densely rugose-punctate. 3 rd and 4 th tergites coarsely and densely punctate. 2 nd and 3 rd tergite with distinct median longitudinal striation. 7 th tergite c.1.2× longer than wide. Seen from dorsal, ovipositor sheath 0.3‒0.7× as long as 7 th tergite.
Color: Black. Palps brownish, mandible medially reddish. Stripes on flagellomeres 7/8‒12/14, stripe on fron- tal orbit and triangular spot on vertex, sometimes collare and hind edge of pronotum, sometimes two paramedian stripes on mesoscutum, sometimes subtegular ridge, sometimes apical spot of scutellum, and usually posterolateral spots on 1 st to 4 th /5 th tergites ivory. Legs black; fore and mid coxae sometimes with apical yellow spots, fore and mid femora apically, fore tibia frontally, subbasal rings of all tibiae and usually external spots on 1 st to 4 th hind tarsomeres yellow. Wings slightly infuscate; pterostigma brown or black.
♂: Body length 18‒20 mm. Antenna with 39‒40 flagellomeres; 1 st flagellomere 2.8× longer than wide. Tyloids on flagellomeres 6/8‒16/19, oval to long-oval, maximally 0.5‒0.9× as long as their flagellomeres. Temple roundly and moderately or strongly and almost linearly narrowed behind eye. OED 0.9‒1.3× ocellar diameter. MI 0.2‒0.4.
Mesosoma covered with greyish hairs. Hind femur 3.5‒3.7× longer than wide. Fore metatarsus with distinct apical tooth. Lateral field of postpetiolus 0.5‒0.7× as wide as median field. 2 nd tergite 1.0‒1.2× longer than wide. Thyridium oblique, 1.0× as wide as the interval. 2 nd to 5 th tergites densely punctate and granulate; 2 nd and 3 rd tergites aciculate medially.
Color: Black, metasoma black or with slightly bluish shine. Flagellum black. Palps, mandible except teeth, clypeus and face completely or except small brownish central spots, frontal orbit, small spot on vertex and outer orbit, scape ventrally, collare and hind edge or upper margin of pronotum, spots on tegula and subtegular ridge, sometimes ventral spot on mesopleuron and two paramedian stripes of mesoscutum, sometimes apical spot of scutellum and postscutellum, frontal marks on fore and mid coxae, posterolateral spots on 1 st to 4 th tergites (almost triangular on 2 nd to 4 th tergites). Legs black, fore and mid femora, tibiae and tarsi yellowish to ivory frontally; hind tibia often with reddish-brown stripes externally, usually 4 th to 5 th hind tarsomeres ivory.
