Material examined. NMNH: Albania: 13, Vlorё District near Dukati 450m, leaf litter, 11.05.1995, leg. S. Golovatch, P. Stoev & P. Beron, det. J–P. Mauriès, S. Golovatch & P. Stoev, 1996.
Distribution in the Balkans. Albania: Vlorё District, Aulona (type locality) and near Dukati ( Mauriès et al. 1997).
World distribution. Endemic to Albania.
Remarks. This is a rare species. The original description was based on only 2 males, 2 females, and 2 juveniles ( Verhoeff 1901c). In spite of a thorough collecting trip in Albania, it has been found only once since its original description, 2 males from the topotypic location, at 450m a.s.l. ( Mauriès et al. 1997).
