Chromatoiulus (Cyphobrachyiulus) loebli Strasser, 1974: 274 View in CoL –277 and 290, Figs 70–73. Chromatoiulus loebli: Strasser 1976: 613 View in CoL –614; Ceuca 1992: 426. Megaphyllum loebli: Enghoff & Kime 2009 View in CoL .

Material examined. HNHM: Greece: 13, 1Ƥ, 2009/64, Arkadia county, Korfes, gorge with mixed forest ( Platanus and conifers), S of the village, 885m, N38°05.099’ E22°02.036’, 0 7.04.2009, leg. LD, JK & DM. Distribution in the Balkans. Greece: Peloponnese, gorge in Kalavrita (type locality) ( Strasser 1974). World distribution. Endemic to the Peloponnese, Greece.

Remarks. First data since the original description of the species, collected close to the type locality. It supposedly inhabits higher regions of the Peloponnese ( Strasser 1974). Although not fitting perfectly into the subgenus (i.e. male second leg-pair without a distinct hump), Strasser suggested putting it into Cyphobrachyiulus Verhoeff, 1900 according to gonopods (for revision of the subgenus see Strasser 1974, 1976).
