World distribution. Also distributed in Austria ( Strasser 1959), Hungary ( Korsós 1994) and Italy ( Foddai et al. 1995), North Serbia (Obedska Bara, v.Obrež ( Makarov et al. 2004)), North Slovenia (Julian Alps (Strasser 1966a)).
Remarks. New to the fauna of Greece (as proposed by Mauriès, based on its distribution outside Greece, in litt.), at the northern border of the country. This may represent the southernmost occurrence of the species.
