Distribution in the Balkans. Greece: Lesvos Island, Profitis Ilias (4km S from Agiasos), 600– 930m.; Agia Marina (type localities) ( Strasser 1976).
World distribution. Endemic to the island of Lesvos, Greece.
Remarks. No new data available since its original description. The only Megaphyllum species on the island.
