Genus Porogalumnella Balogh, 1968

Type species: Porogalumnella quadriporosa Balogh, 1968 , p. 274

Body surface foveolate, strongly granulate or reticulate. Rostrum narrowly or broadly rounded. Lamellar and sublamellar lines present, long, thin, parallel, curving backwards at ventral end. Rostral setae medial to lamellar lines. Lamellar setae lateral or medial to lamellar lines. Bothridial setae with dilated heads unilaterally. Postanal porose area present. Notogastral setae represented by 10 pairs of alveoli or short/medium size, setiform, thin setae. Two pairs of porose areas (Aa, A1) developed on notogaster. Without dorsolateral pores. Median pore absent in females and males. Epimeral neotrichy absent. Adanal lyrifissures distanced from anal aperture, preanal. Leg tarsi with one or two claws.

Statement of monophyly: Uncertain, all species but P. microsetosa are monophyletic; P. microsetosa forms trifurcation with the remaining species of Porogalumnella and their sister group ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 )—see Note 4.3 in Taxonomic notes section

Distribution: Ethiopian, Oriental and Australian regions
