Type species: Neogalumna antenniger Hammer, 1973 , p. 55
Body surface without strongly developed sculpture or ornamentation. Rostrum rounded or pointed. Bothridial setae setiform, clavate, fusiform, lanceolate. Dorsosejugal suture and postanal porose area present. Notogastral setae represented by 10 or 11 pairs of alveoli. Notogaster with porose areas, saccules absent, one pair of Aa. Adanal lyrifissures distanced from anal aperture, oblique. Other morphological traits correspond to generic diagnosis.
