One species each of Odinia ROBINEAU-DESVOIDY and Traginops COQUILLETT were listed in the CDO (STEYSKAL 1977) from the whole Oriental region. Odinia formosipennis FREY, 1961 was described from Burma (based on a single female). We captured a male, which represents a new species and the first record of this family for Thailand.
