Diagnosis. Males of the rosae group are characterized by the presence of a well-developed ventral lobe of the retrolateral tibial apophysis and by the absence of a dorsal lobe ( Figs 8F View FIGURE 8 , 9B, 9F View FIGURE 9 , 10B View FIGURE 10 , 11F View FIGURE 11 ); females can be recognized by the well developed posterior vulval plate, membranous copulatory pouch and the absence of secondary spermathecae ( Figs 5D View FIGURE 5 , 6D View FIGURE 6 ; Bonaldo 2000: figs 341–343).
