Material examined. 1 ♀ South Africa, Limpopo province, 234518 m E 7357213 m S (= 23°52'28.5"S 30°23'34.7"E), 0 1.05.2017, ex Delottococcus aberiae (De Lotto) on Citrus x paradisi, Star Ruby, (V. Martínez- Blay & J. Puig) GoogleMaps ; 1 ♀, India, Tamil Nadu, Mangarai Forest , 28.ix.1979 (J. S. Noyes) ; 1 ♀, Thailand, Trang Prov. Kaophapphia, Kaochang , 200m, light trap, 1- 3.1.1964 (G. A. Samuelson) .

Comments. The species was described in detail and pictured by Ishii (1928). We have examined material identified by J.S. Noyes at NHM and have little doubt about species identity. D. aberiae represents a new host record for this species.
