This name had been reported in an updated checklist of liverworts and hornworts in Thailand ( Lai et al. 2008) based on the information from Grolle & Zhu (2000). Following the publication ( Grolle & Zhu 2000), however, D. longicruris was not mentioned in Thailand. Based on both herbarium specimens and recent field collections throughout the country, this species has never been recorded. Thus, D. longicruris which was reported in Thailand may depend on a misunderstanding. Therefore, the record of this species should be excluded from Thailand.
