Medium size species (total length 9.5–14.0 mm, length of forebody <7.5 mm), head with setiferous postocular punctures, labrum with moderately prominent inner lobes, elytra with punctation arranged in three series, one near suture, one median and one lateral, aedeagus with smaller parameres, less than half as long as median lobe, male sternite 9 with transversely delimited apical area. Distributed in West, Central and East Africa ( Fig. 1).
